Thank you for taking an interest in Crumlin Primary School.
At Crumlin Primary we pride ourselves on providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which our children can grow in confidence and work purposefully to a realistically high standard, developing and achieving to the best of their individual abilities.
We have high expectations of our children, parents and ourselves and are proud of our good name, our high academic standards and the excellent discipline within the school.
Objective and positive evaluation of the school is reflected in our most recent Department of Education inspection report. Generally a school is given 4-6 weeks notice of an inspection, however, ours was an unannounced inspection i.e. we had no prior warning of the three day inspection. The reported noted, "Relationships are good at all levels.
A caring ethos pervades all aspects of the school's provision. The teachers know the children well and go to considerable lengths to meet individual needs.The teachers promote successfully a culture of positive discipline. The children are well behaved and relate well to reach other and to adults. There are effective induction procedures for new children joining the school."
